You can control the light with remote from as far as approximately 30ft, and you don’t need to point the remote at the light since the remote is RF but NOT infra-red. The light is already paired to the remote before shipping, and all screws kit is included in the box for installation. If you need to re-pair during the day, simply disconnect the solar panel due to the light sensor.
