This is a magnificent vintage Navajo turquoise and silver squash blossom necklace. This museum quality necklace is incredibly huge, heavy and contains thick silver. The necklace consists of 12 outstanding silver squashes with each carrying a beutiful old McGinnis turquoise stone. Resting on the 2-3/4" X 2-7/8" silver horseshoe shaped silver naja pendant are 6 more phenomenal McGinnis turquoise stones. THe average stone on this necklace measures around 5/8" X 1/4". McGinnis is a very rare Nevada mine. The stones are each situated in an incredible shadowbox setting. Surrounding the squashes and naja pendant are stunning silver sun patterns. Resting throughout the entire necklace are superior round silver bead with a traditional silver clasp. Sterling silver. Cir. Mid century . The length of the necklace measures around 36".
