United States Army 345th Quartermaster Battalion Unit Crest (Machinamentum De Vitae)
Criteria: This item is the unit crest of the 345th Quartermaster Battalion. The unit's motto, "Machinamentum De Vitae," is printed on the bottom of the design and translates as, "The Machine Of Life." The overall shape of the design is a snake with its mouth open alluding to the unit's home state of Oklahoma. Also called distinctive unit insignia, this item is designed specifically for wear on the Army Dress Blue (ASU) Uniform.
