50mm Standard Wheels

ICAN engineers design and construct state-of-the-art carbon wheelsets. Their objectives include strength, long service life and light weight. But there's one objective our customers love – ICAN has feather-light carbon wheels – for the price of heavy alloy. Our most popular standard 50mm wheelset has a 38mm rim in front for the sake of streamlining and resistance to crosswinds on the flat. And at the rear a 50mm deep rim, which makes you feel at home, securely tucked into the peloton. Some wheelsets come with a Novatec hub and straight-pull spokes. Others have alloy Powerway R13 hubs, or the alloy/carbon mix of the lightweight aluminum R13 model. You can even opt for the advanced aluminum/carbon Powerway R36. All hubs have sealed bearings. ICAN standard 50mm wheels have a tempting range of spokes, including aero types to cut down on the turbulence stirred up by a fast-rotating wheel. The famous Sapim CX-Ray spokes ride like titanium. Choose your tyre – and let it dictate which rim you need. Our customers can pick and mix – some wheelsets have a rim that's only 38mm deep, and slinky aero models for triathletes which measure 86mm. We don't say no to rims for tubulars, but clincher rims are more popular – and they're all ready for tubeless.
