United States Army 63rd Signal Battalion Unit Crest (Ab Initio)
Criteria: This item is the unit crest, or distinctive unit insignia, of the 63rd Signal Battalion. The unit's motto, "Ab Initio," is emblazoned upon the bottom edge of the design and translates as, "From The Beginning." The colors orange and white allude to the unit's Signal designation. The four stripes commemorate the unit's service in World War II. The mosque refers to African service and the boot indicates Italian service. This item is designed specifically for wear on the Army Dress Blue (ASU) Uniform.
