United States Army 87th U.S. Army Reserve Support Command ACU Patch
Criteria: This is the shoulder sleeve insignia (SSI) worn by the 87th U.S. Army Reserve Support Command, they are nicknamed "Golden Acorn". The acorn is a symbol of strength. Originally approved for the 87th Division in 1918 it was redesignated a number of times and then finally being redesignated for the 87th U.S. Army Reserve Support Command in 2008. This patch has a diameter of 2-1/4" and has hook and loop fasteners. Worn on the Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP) Army Combat Uniform (ACU). Sold individually.
