United States Army 96th Sustainment Brigade Unit Crest (To Serve and Excel)
Criteria: This item is the unit crest of the 96th Sustainment Brigade. The unit's motto, "To Serve And Excel," is emblazoned along the top and bottom edges of the design. The two overlapping squares are adapted from the unit's shoulder sleeve insignia and refer to the states of Washington and Oregon, whose personnel composed this unit when it was originally activated. The upturned arrow indicates readiness while the demi sun commemorates the unit's World War II service in the Philippines. This item is worn on the Army Dress Blue (ASU) Uniform.
