United States Army 997th Brigade Support Battalion Unit Crest (We Prepare the Way)
Criteria: These distinctive unit insignia (DUI) are worn by the 997th Brigade Support BN (997th BSB). Originally approved in 1955 and redesignated for the 297th FA BN, 174th MP Battalion, 174th Quartermaster BN, 174th Supply & Service BN, 174th Maintenance BN, and finally 997th Support Battalion. A unit of the Kansas Army National Guard (KS ARNG) their motto We Prepare the Way. Unit crests are worn on the Army Service Uniform (ASU) and Army Class A Uniform (Greens).
