United States Army 99th Regional Readiness Command Unit Crest (Checkmate)
Criteria: This item is the unit crest for the 99th Regional Readiness Command. The unit's motto, "Checkmate," is emblazoned across the top edge of the design, echoing the chess rook. The band of checkered squares is adapted from the hereditary arms of William Pitt, for whom the city of Pittsburgh was named. This alludes to the unit's home state of Pennsylvania. Also called distinctive unit insignia, this item is designed for wear on the Army Dress Blue (ASU) Uniform.
Note: Sold in pairs (i.e., if you order a quantity of 1 you will receive two Unit Crests).
