United States Army 9th Field Artillery Regiment Unit Crest
Criteria: This item is the unit crest of the 9th Field Artillery Regiment. The shield is red signifying Artillery. The cannon balls in the yellow square are the arms of the 1st Field Artillery, from which this unit has its origins. The two traditional Hawaiian puloulou-a, or black staff topped with a white ball, is a symbol of Hawaii, the home state of this unit. Also called distinctive unit insignia, this item is worn on the Army Dress Blue (ASU) Uniform.
