This Hollow Flame Ner Tamid was commissioned by Aish Denver in Colourado, USA. The Eternal Light was hand blown and sculpted at the Synagogue Furniture studios in Israel by artist ahuva from borosilicate glass flames, handmade glass inlays, and lathed cherrywood base. The twelve flames and coloured inlays represent the twelve tribes, their colours and textures made in inspiration of the stones worn on the high priest breastplate. Photo shows the Eternal Light at the studio before installation and proper lighting set up.
