United States Army Alaska ACU Patch
Criteria: This is the shoulder sleeve insignia (SSI) worn by the Army Alaska (USARAK). Army Alaska (USARAK) is nicknamed "America's Artic Warriors" and is headquartered at Fort Richardson. This SSI represents the constellation Ursa Major (The Great Bear) which, according to ancient myth, is the guardian of the North Star. This patch has a diameter of 2-1/2" and has hook and loop fasteners. Worn on the Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP) Army Combat Uniform (ACU). Sold individually.
