United States Army Central - (3rd Army) ACU Patch
Criteria: This is the shoulder sleeve insignia (SSI) worn by the Army Central (3rd Army). Army Central (3rd Army) is best known for its campaigns in WWII under the command of General George S. Patton which lead to their nickname "Patton's Own". This SSI was originally approved for the 3rd Army in 1922 it was later redesignated for the US Army Central in 2006. This patch has a diameter of 2-1/4" and has hook and loop fasteners. Worn on the Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP) Army Combat Uniform (ACU). Sold individually.
