United States Army NATO Combat Service Identification Badge
Criteria: This is the Combat Service Identification Badge (CSIB) worn by the U.S Army North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). Red, white and blue are the colors of our National and gold is for excellence. The star represents the United States and the Lion represents Europe. This SSI was originally approved for U.S. Army Elements of Allied Command Europe in 1990. Redesignated for U.S. Army Elements of Supreme Allied Powers Europe in 2000, and then redesignated again in 2001 as the U.S. Army North Atlantic Treaty Organization. The Combat Service Identification Badge (CSIB) is worn on the Army Dress Blue (ASU) Uniform.
