The science of color therapy

Everything in the universe is made up of energy that vibrates. The amplitude and frequency of these vibrations determine how and what form that energy will express itself. This means that everything in the universe has its own unique vibration.

Light is the first thing that contains waves and particles. Particles are what we associate with solid objects. Color is the vibrational effect of how light is either admitted, reflected, or absorbed off of a particular surface or thing. This is why people have different aura colors and also why chakras have different energy signatures.

By interacting with a vibration or color we can entrain our personal auras and mood to a particular frequency. “Entrainment” is essentially the law of Harmony. Any two vibrating bodies will entrain with one another if exposed to one another for long enough. Entrainment works massively to our advantage. It means that anything you are in a space for long enough, you will begin to entrain with it. Meaning your own vibration starts to vibrate at the same frequency of that color that you are wearing.This aids you to amplify and manifest anything that is a vibrational match to the frequency of that color in your life.

We are attracted to different colors for a reason. It's either because we are showing who we are and our personality, or we are getting insight into what's blocking you or what's not working in your life. When you discover that and you use that particular color it changes these aspects of your life.

The feeling aspect of color

Color has an instantaneous impact on your brain and being. It doesn't just enter into our eyes, it is absorbed through our skin and energetic inputs as well. So even if you are completely blind, color therapy can still influence us because color permeates our body as a vibration, even if you can't see it. 

What we associate colors with affects our experience of the color. It is an amazing window into the subconscious. It is a window into the things that are unseen about us to the naked eye. Once we identify what we feel like supporting, we can wear the color, we can visualize the color, we can eat the color. We can use color at our advantage by spending time or seeking out being influenced by the color we’d like to tune to.

How color can support your emotional and mental well being

Colors don't lie. It brings out things that you may not consciously be aware of, but are sitting in our subconscious mind. Colors encourage these things to come to the surface and address them. It works by entraining our mental and emotional blockages in a non-intrusive way. We can use color intentionally to fine tune our personal energy-frequency and well being. By releasing emotional blockages, the physical blockages fall away. This is why color is used as an energetic form of healing and emotional support.
