This birdsmouth router bit will cut stock up to 1-1/8" thick to make 12 sided objects and up to 3/4" to make 6 sided objects.

Using this bit, you will only need to cut one end as opposed to two (such as with miter joints) reducing cutting time in half!
This bit is designed to cut at the correct angle providing extra gluing surface and a strong mechanical joint. When glued together, the routed end hugs the mating piece preventing any slippage.
Cut face up for six sided projects and face down for twelve sided projects.
Edges can be cut either flush or protruded, then sanded down later to the desired finish. Two flute carbide cutters & 1/2" shank.
