  • A super economical ... yet well-detailed … Brazilian flag that’s suitable for displays, classrooms, and flying.
  • Enjoy the bold true colors, with a long-lasting dye-sublimated process that gives you years of service.
  • Lightweight yet durable polyester makes these flags an easy investment for anyone!

The History

As a visually-appropriate tribute to the natural-world wonder that is Brazil… this unique flag seems to celebrate nature and the cosmos just as much as it celebrates the national pride of Brazil.

Officially adopted as the national flag of Brazil back in 1889… this flag first officially flew on the fourth day of the founding of the Brazilian republic (formerly a kingdom, and part of the Portuguese empire) on November 15, 1889.

The green field that makes up most of the flag’s body is meant to represent the abundant forests, while the yellow diamond within represents Brazil’s abundant mineral resources.

The blue circle in the middle is actually a snapshot of the night sky at the time of the nation’s founding, and contains the Southern Cross constellation, along with (now) 27 stars to represent each Brazilian state.

The slogan “Order and Progress” completes the flag, written in Latin across a banner in the middle.

Altogether, these symbols make up one of the more recognizable and distinctive flags out there. And as Brazil continues to grow, change, and evolve… it will likely represent this South American powerhouse for centuries to come.
