They also offer enhanced protection when used in conjunction with other ballistic protection products.
Aramid fibers, an essential component to modern protective vest, is a unique unidirectional (UD) laminate that is available for soft body armor panels and components. Making full use of inherent high fiber tenacity, the Aramid UD performance also helps to avoid material crimping. Using advanced UD technology, the Aramid fibers are layered in a parallel manner with each layer constructed individually within a resin matrix and thermoplastic film that is laminated from top to bottom to ensure ideal abrasion resistance. Additionally, our soft panels can be custom shaped to fit your specific needs.
