We have used these several times in road trips and around town. They hold A LOT and secure in place very easily. When it's daylight, there is a reflection through the plastic for the tablets, but you can either put them in with case inside and just leave the tablet hanging outside. It holds 4 bottles/cans and multiple pockets for snacks/earbuds/books/whatever you can find to stuff in them... LOVE THEM!
