I use these hangers in my laundry so only hang about six to eight articles of clothing when they come out of the dryer or wash. I don’t use them to store clothes on, so probably have less than 10 pounds on.

I’ve had wet shirts hanging to dry on them and not sure weight limit. Got mine anchored to wooden shelf in laundry room.

I have the rack screwed into the wall with mollies so it is really secure. I usually hang up to four tops and a cotton dress all at once, so I would say the rack can hold about five to seven pounds. The rack is very substantial. I use th rack to dry my clothes I don’t want to put in the dryer. Hope this helps you.

I would guess it depends if you can anchor into a stud. However we hang about 10 articles of clothing on it, works great in our laundry area
