This is an exceptional vintage Santo Domingo very large necklace. This necklace is incredibly huge and heavy. Located on the piece are fabulous graduating white shell heishi with three accenting large inlaid sections. The inlay consists of Royston turquoise, coral, onyx and white shell. Resting on the ends are superior silver cones with a traditional silver clasp. The center inlaid pendant measures around 3-5/8" X 2-1/2". Situated at the bottom of the necklace are 4 outstanding jacla pendants that each contain more breathtaking white shell heishi with bottom fat, teardrop shaped Royston turquoise stones. This is one of the largest Santo Domingo necklaces we have ever seen. Sterling silver. Cir. Mid to late 20th century . The length of the necklace measures around 43". Sturdy 520 grams.
