NOTE: If the wooden frame is listed as 30x40cm then the edge of the frame length is 30x40cm and the inner dimension is 26x36cm as the width of the wooden strip is 2cm.

Our frames are made with pine timber as it has a smooth surface and is great for the environment. This is the most common wood frame material used.
Assembly: Our DIY wood frames are packed unassembled and will need to be assembled by you, when you receive it. When assembling, hold the corners together with wood glue or a staple gun (as per the pictures above).
- When the glue is dry, lay your canvas, front down onto a flat surface.
- Place the frame on the canvas, making sure it is centred and minimal blank canvas is showing on the front.
- As you pull the canvas over each edge of the frame as tight as you can without bowing the frame, attach it to the frame.
- To attach the canvas to the frame you can either use a staple gun or you can use thumb tacks or press pins, but these are not as strong as staples.
