Guzmanias are beautiful evergreen perennials that are native to tropical and subtropical regions of Central and South America. You can grow strong healthy Guzmanias as indoor plants as well.

Guzmania plants are very adaptable. They survive well my multiple light conditions. Your Guzmania should have medium indirect light.
Water
With Guzmania's it is best to underwater the plant to avoid issues root rot.
Temperature
These tropical plants are very resilient and can survive in temperatures between 40°-100°F, but they prefer 70°-75°F.
Soil
Use a light well-aerated fast draining soil.
Re-Potting
In the spring, as the Guzmania matures and outgrows its pot, move the plant to another size container After 3 or 4 years or as needed. They like to be root-bound in small pots so don’t rush to put them into a larger container.
