How do I use it?

? Set your printer and insert the filament (check your printer’s instructions).

? For any type of 3d printer.

? It has been used for toys, packaging, cultural heritage, agritech, automotive, aeromotive, drones, apparel and much more, but the limit is your imagination!

? The natural "A" matrix together with the hemp fiber, gives life to the bio-compound "A" which, due to its characteristics, can very well be used to replace polyethylene terephthalate, the classic PET used for example for plastic bottles, which is a polluting and not eco-friendly material.

? This bio-composite can be used, for example, to coat steel pipes, as anti-corrosive and insulating, otherwise coated with polypropylene. This material has a high specific resistance such that it can be used for aeronautical use or to build car bodies.

? Its lightness makes it particularly suitable also for the construction of technological objects, such as small drones.

Is it safe for health?

? Industrial hemp can contain a maximum of 0.3% THC, so it is not hallucinogenic or harmful in any way.

? Hemp Filament is the 3D printing filament produced and processed in Italy from Italian hemp. Industrial hemp crops do not require herbicides, pesticides and grow more densely than maize. For Hemp Filament no dyes are used, allowing to maintain a real natural brown.

? Hemp is antimicrobial and anti-allergic.

? It does not contain any chemical or allergenic elements.

How does it impact the environment?

? With your purchase you are contributing to the preservation of the Planet and the high quality of Made in Italy, for the development of eco-friendly industries and local economy in the Apulian region.

? Hemp has been used for at least ten thousand years in the textile industry, on ships to make sails and ropes, and also for food, medicines, personal care products, textiles, paper, and even an alternative to plastic, construction materials. Hemp textiles have always been valued for its strength, durability and longevity, also holding its shape, and the more it is used, the softer it gets. It is a fast-growing crop, producing 250% more fiber than cotton and 600% more fiber than flax using the same amount of land in warm tropical zones or temperate climates, never exhausting the soil and it is excellent for absorbing air and soil pollution.

? Hemp is grown in a particularly environmentally friendly way.

? Our hemp products supplier is different. It is an Italian association that supplies us with handmade hemp products rooted in their local community. Founded in 2015 with funding for youth entrepreneurship, it contributes concretely to the reintroduction of hemp cultivation in Italy, promoting research, investment and regulation of the industry, with the aim of producing and processing hemp grown in southern Italy and beyond. A project that developed from the desire to give back identity to a special plant, traditionally available in the Italian territory: hemp, always valued for its strength, durability and longevity and used in many industries.

? They are committed to rebuild an ecosystem made of people, work and experiences that recognize the real value of a natural resource so useful and sustainable, starting by providing concrete and reliable information to meet many types of needs with functional, simple and innovative solutions. They have opened their own farm where they cultivate this evolution; among hectares of hemp, they also organize training courses and personalized consulting services for the different fields of application of the resource. By purchasing their products you are contributing to the preservation of the Planet and the high quality of Made in Italy, for the development of sustainable fashion and local economy in the Apulia, Sicily, Molise and Marche regions of Italy.

? The hemp they use is grown without the use of pesticides and with a moderate amount of water, extremely less than, for example, the water used in cotton crops. This characteristic, together with the absence of pesticides and chemical herbicides in the crops of the fiber plants used, really makes a difference to the health of the skin and, of course, the environment. By choosing these natural articles, you opt for non-polluting materials, a real alternative to the usual plastic filaments made from petroleum synthesis. Natural raw materials are hereby used, which at the end of use can be returned back to the ecological cycle, as well as tanned leather without polluting chemicals.

? Hemp is 100% compostable and biodegradable. If you don't have a garden, throw it in the organic garbage.

? You can inspire your friends, family and colleagues to stop trashing the world by being a living example or by inviting them to our shop, just grab the referral link clicking the red gift icon ? in the bottom left corner ? and you will also get a discount on your next order.
