The artist precisely shapes and sets each mosaic piece using traditional mosaic techniques, producing deliberate andamento—the sense of movement and rhythm created by the grout lines. Once the setting is complete, colored cement is used to grout the piece, giving it a unified and finished look. The box has a high-quality black finish with a velvet interior and a pull-out insert.
