I love this lamp.Very lightweight. Does everything it said it would do and a great buy for the price. I was surprised at how thin the base is. It is dim enough and bright enough for all types of use.
One drawback would be that you have to tap it to get it to bright. It starts in low then medium then high.
The reviews said this from the beginning so that is on me. It does hold the setting that you last used on the type of light brightness.

I bought this lamp for my new mobile workbench and tool cabinet. It could not be better! Not only is it handsome but it takes up very little space on the work area.3 brightness levels are a big plus, especially when doing precision work. May purchase a second.
