Nenya is described as being made of Mithril™, a silver colored metal, designed using the beautiful leaves of the trees of Lothlorien™. Tolkien described the leaves as those of the European Beech, a tree that he loved.
When Frodo™ saw Galadriel's ring Nenya in the forest of Lorien™, the stone glittered and shone like it held a star from the heavens. Nenya is also called the Ring of Adamant™, Adamant is the old English word for diamond. For that reason, Nenya is usually set with a 1ct. Signity Star cubic zirconia, the highest brilliance CZ on the market. For those who prefer a colored stone, faceted 1ct. (6.5mm) round emerald or amethyst colored cubic zirconia or lab grown Ruby or Sapphire are available upon request. For those who prefer a flat set stone, 6x4mm cabochon Moonstone or Opal options are also available.
The Nenya™ ring measures roughly 8mm (0.315") from top to bottom, 2.8 (0.125") wide at the back of the band and weights approximately 4 grams. The tracer band measures approximately 5mm (just under 0.25") from the leaf tip to the band. The back of the band measures roughly 1.4mm (0.0625") wide and the ring weighs ~1.6 grams.
Most sizes typically in stock with clear cubic zirconia and ready to ship. However, please allow up to 5-7 business days if the ring needs to be cast-to-order with your specified options or contact us for availability and estimated timing of shipment.
