MELa Outdoor Lamp Post serves as an excellent quick win for any smart city to include in its plans and with a sound ROI. It uses solar power by Solar Adtek to power the top LED Lights which is a vital factor to determine any specifications in any 10W solar street light application. During the day time, solar panels generate DC power, it passes through the controller to charge the battery, when the night comes the controller detects no current coming from the panels then it gives an order, to the LED lamp to turn ON, and the lamp will turn OFF again once the controller detects power current coming from the panel again on the next day. In case of a non-sun rainy day while no current is coming out of the panel for the whole day, the controller is pre-set to turn ON the lamp for a certain amount of hours using the backup capacity of the battery which could be determined upon customer’s request.
MELa is equipped with two digital 4K screens, one using a 32” and the other a 15” interactive with PCAP touch technology. Brightness is built at 3000 nits or less per client’s request. The unit is rated at IP67 and can operate in environments with temperatures varying from -30°C ~ 60°C (-22°F ~ 140°F).
