A vibrant plant with small glossy green leaves that brings a rainforest element to your home. Often referred to as the 'Mini Monstera' this plant is highly sought after due to their gorgeous split leaves, fast growth and ease of care.

They have a fast rate of growth if kept in optimal conditions. They love to climb, growing it up a moss pole works well. Feel free to prune it to encourage a fuller plant that will overflow the pot beautifully.

Light

The fast-growing mini monstera originally comes from tropical places in Thailand and Malaysia where it grows on trees shielded from direct sun by the foliage above.

This means you should give your Rhaphidophora tetrasperma bright, filtered light. It is not used to being in full-blown sun all day.

Water

A Minima Monstera likes its soil to stay a bit moist. Especially when it is actively growing in spring and summer. However, beware not to overwater your plant.

Use lukewarm water so you don’t shock your plants’ roots with a cold shower.

Temperature

Keep Monstera Minima in a place out of reach of vents and drafts at around 55-75 degrees Fahrenheit.

Soil

Organic soil will do just fine for your Mini Monstera.

Re-Potting

Repot biannually using a houseplant-labelled compost and the next sized pot with adequate drainage. Hydrate the plant 24hrs before the tinkering with the roots to prevent the risk of transplant shock.
