The secret to its mood-lifting scent lies in the Limonene-rich resin flowing through each tree as this plant is a part of the citrus family and has the sweet smell of pine, mint, and lemon. Palo Santo is used for purifying the spirit and clearing negative energy, inspiring creativity, bringing a deeper connection to the divine source, and aid in physical healing such as reliving of common colds and flu, stress, asthma, headaches, depression, anxiety, and inflammation.
Our Palo Santo is harvested in Peri and hand-carved. We process only aged, dead palo santo wood gathered from the forest floor.
How to use:
Hold the smudging stick at a 45-degree angle, light the smudging stick, let it burn for at least 20 seconds, and then gently blow out the flame so that you see orange embers on one end. It is completely fine to burn as much or as little as you need. Burning sacred plants creates fragrant smoke central to smudging benefits.
When you are smudging your home or workplace be sure to allow the smoke to drift into even the hidden spaces, like inside closets, basements, and dark corners. If there are stairs, just go up or down when you encounter them.

Always be careful with smudging stick when it’s lit. Use abalone shell or other heat proof bowl.
Do not leave burning smudge stick unattended. Keep away from children and pets and from combustibles. Setting off smoke alarms is common. It is also important to leave a window open before, during, and after smudging.
When you are smudging a person, do not bring smudging kit too close to the person’s body or face, let the smoke freely wrap around the person that is being smudged if it is someone else or self. Make sure to put your smudging bundle out completely after every use. To extinguish place the bundle into dry sand, water or heat proof bowl.
