The iconic "We Are Happy To Serve You" paper coffee cup was introduced in 1963 by Leslie Buck. More than 180 million of the distinctive blue-and-white Grecian-style cups are used in New York City every year. The environmentally-minded design group Exception lab in conjunction with the Sweetheart Cup Company Inc. and Aid to Artisans converted the design from disposable to permanent. This ceramic New York Coffee Cup and Espresso Cup was designed by Uncommon Goods Graham Hill. Vat19
Ceramic Greek Coffee Cup COFFEE GOODS
Anyone who’s ever gone to a New York City diner or street vendor knows this Greek-inspired design. With sustainability in mind, Exceptionlab made what was once ephemeral and disposable into something more permanent and Earth-friendly. The cup is an authentic token of time spent in the city, whether in 1963 or 2021.
