I use super-high quality canvas...
Many canvases are made of cotton. The canvas I use is linen, which is much stronger – it's the material the old masters used 300 years ago – and high density: 4.5gm2; with thick, sturdy wooden frames that have a real presence on your wall.
All hand made.
