This one-of-a-kind Passover Seder Plate is handmade from local Israeli Olive wood, environmentally harvested and carefully cured in our studio for years before it was carved. Israeli olive wood could be up to 1000 years old with remarkable grain structures. It is finished with three coats of durable lacquer for protection and polished to showed this unique texture. Artist hand blows the glass bowls from colored borosilicate, also known as Pyrex, which is heat and shock resistant for use with oil or candles. They can be easily unscrewed from the solid brass threaded inserts in the wood base for easy cleaning.
