These Om Mani Padme Hum Bodhi Seed wrist malas were a very special find and we were only able to get a few of them. Each Bodhi seed is hand painted by Tibetan Refugees with the different syllables of the Om Mani Padme Hum universal mantra   Om Mani Padme Hum means Blessings of the Jewel of the Lotus. Each syllable has a purifying effect on both the physical and mental well being. The mantra heals and purifies all negative actions.

The Bodhi Seed is valued because the seeds are from the type of tree under which the Lord Gautama Buddha achieved enlightenment. Bodhi Seed Wrist Malas are considered auspicious to use for all practices.

The peaceful nation of Tibet, blessed by vibrant culture and traditions, exists despite constant threat of elimination, as a living civilization, breathing deeply of the unique attributes which make Tibet separate from all others. The varied and exceptional arts of Tibet have been the primary means by which her people have kept alive their rich heritage since the Chinese invasion. This mala is carefully hand made by superior crafts people, exiled Tibetans refugees living in India, Nepal, Bhutan, Mongolia and elsewhere.

This is a fair trade item. Your purchase directly assists in the day to day lives of these refugees and aids in preserving and expanding the unique, rich Tibetan heritage and culture.
