This is a humdinger of a weigela!  Sonic Bloom® weigela are the strongest rebloomers ever seen in weigela.  Loads of hot pink flowers in May are followed by waves of blooms until frost.  No deadheading is needed to see strong reblooming through summer and fall.

Care of weigela shrub:
Prefers well-drained soils but fairly adaptable to other soil types.  Best flowering occurs in full sun, but light shade isn't harmful, particularly in warmer climates.
How to trim a weigela shrub:  If necessary, prune immediately after the spring bloom.
If desired, fertilize in early spring with a granular fertilizer formulated for woody plants, like a rose fertilizer.
Check your local invasive species list before buying any new plants. We Do Not ship to WA, OR, AK, HI, PR***

Dormancy notice: This plant, like many others, enters dormancy or semi-dormancy in the late fall through early spring. *THIS PLANT IS NOT DEAD. It is completely healthy but upon receiving the plant, you may notice it exhibits fewer leaves, discoloration, or complete leaf drop. This is normal and essential to the plant's health. In fact, planting during dormancy promotes root growth, giving your plant a better start for spring, when new foliage will begin to grow. Photos are for reference only and are of mature trees.
