Step 1:
Place your painting face down and and use a pen to mark the stretcher’s position on the back of the painting, as shown in the photo below. Make sure the wood angles are facing each other with the narrow side groove turned inward. It’s essential that the wood edge and the painting edge align with each other, so take your time lining them up.
Step 2:
Apply strips of masking tape to secure the wooden bars in the correct position.
Step 3:
Bar by bar, remove the adhesive backing and erect the wood pieces by rolling them toward the center of the canvas. Make sure the canvas edges are placed between the panel angles.
Step 4:
Insert the "U" nail into the corner of the bars to secure.
Step 5:
Gently tap the corner scaffolding pieces into the grooves to steady the frame.
And voila! Now you have a finished, framed piece of art ready to embellish your walls or be given as a cherished gift.
