One of Bob's alien cousins, Darius, ventured down to earth and collected the chemicals that produce the Northern Lights in South Korea (thats why there are no northern lights there), and placed it into these light projectors. Hence, when the light projectors are turned on, it lets out the stolen Northern Lights... We owe you one, South Korea.
