The solid wood, African Walnut, sephardic style torah case was built by round glue up, cut in half, planed, sanded, and carved by hand. Carving features the seven species of Israel intertwined with a tree of life symbolic vines and is painted in detail with metallic shades. The crown is hand carved with alternating pomegranates and dekelim (palm trees). Rods set with wood handles into inlayed ball bearings for smoothest action.
