Australian Tea Tree Oil, an essential oil obtained by steam distillation of the leaves from the Melaleuca alternifolia plant. This essential oil is clear with a strong characteristic aroma. Australian tea tree oil is used in a wide-range of cosmetic and industrial applications. Cosmetic products formulated with tea tree oil include body lotions, moisturizers, shampoo and conditioners, facial cleansers, mouth washes, and hand and foot sprays or powders. Tea tree oil is a popular ingredient used in a wide-range of household cleaning products as well.
