The ministry of defense published this unique Kiddush book in Jerusalem, in a posh edition "the smachot book". A compilation of all the joys a jew is called to during his whole life, starting from brit mila, girl born, pidion haben, bar bat Mitzvah, until engagement and wedding.
The book gives background and contents of each and every joy, with different groups traditions, and blessing according to Ashkenazi and Middle Eastern Jewry. The "Simcha Book of Joys" was written by mr. yoel rappel, a media man and historian, well known to the public. The aim of this book is for any home abroad and in israel, wanting solid contents, identity, values, acknowledgment of various traditions. It includes acknowledgment over administrative procedures for marriage. This book is a first and unique in it's type.
