Like their long-sleeved brothers, the SADF short sleeve shirts are a great companion in and out of town — the Nutria brown cotton-polyester fabric blend wears very hard, hides dirt and grime, and excels at keeping the sun at bay. Based on the info printed on the tags, these shirts are from the very last years of the Border War (1990s). This may explain why they were never issued and are still in their original packaging.
Each shirt has two pockets with box pleats, perfect for storing small items like papers, tissues, and pens. The pocket buttons are protected from snagging on vegetation or loose gear.
