The Vegvisir is a Viking symbol and translates from Icelandic to "wayfinder".
It is referenced in the Huld manuscript (An ancient Icelandic collection of spells):
"If this sign is carried, one will never lose one’s way in storms or bad weather, even when the way is not known."
This large ring features the Viking Compass Vegvisir on it's unique hexagonal face, embossed in highly polished stainless steel and surrounded by Norse runes.
On both sides of the band is a Valknut symbol.
