Vintage 40's sheer silk chiffon and lace over satin party dress
Beautiful peachy - pink chiffon bodice accented with stitched squares in the fabric
Surplice bodice is smocked at the shoulders for pleating down the front.
Padded shoulders are padded with matching satin
Inverted pleat puffed sleeves with loose cuffs
Lace skirting has classic 40's stitching and pleats at the midriff
The back has a large buckle back belt lined in satin
This dress has a matching duchess satin underslip that
attaches at the shoulders with snaps on the inside.
Soft swing skirting
She has a couple of modern updates:
Someone has removed the side snaps and replaced them with a nylon zipper -
you can carefull remove the zipper and put the snaps back if you would like it to be more authentic.
The inside back portion of the waistband has an added piece of elastic for a better fit

Very sharp, bright and solid - no fade, holes or tears
Satin underslip has watermarking on the bodice area. Will need to be cleaned-
I didn't attempt to clean ,, heavier satin doesn't do well with hand washing.
