A rare, 1950's swimsuit / bikini from Europe -
The first bikini was designed by Louis Réard in the 40's due to fabric rationing and were too risque for Americans at that time.
Flour sack style cotton with orange a, red and gold flowers on white
Bandeau style top with darted cups and full , high cut bottoms.
Rings on the hips and top that hold it together + String ties + Elastic edge along the back of the bikini bottoms
Original tube and artwork and order fom for a print of the model in French

Size is marked a 42 (about a vintage size 12)
