Wheelchair Accessible Reading Tabe: This Torah Reading Table was custom designed and produced for Temple Bnai Israel in Florida, USA. This Torah reading table was designed to specifications for ultimate wheelchair access to any of three honors, Torah reading, Gabi, and Aliyah. And each of the three positions can be adjusted, separately, to be comfortable for standing position. Children will find it comfortable in the lowered position as well.
There are 3 sections, because there are 3 main people at the bima with honors. Each can easily serve to height change. (for wheelchair accessibility or standing). The main table is split to 2 sections. The main section in the middle for the torah and the left side for the gabbai. Each can be tilted flat for easier access for standing or wheelchair. The right side has a "wing" for wheelchair accesibility for the individual getting the aliyah.
Please note that this product does not come with wheels. Wheels can be added for the additional price of $250. Be sure to add in the notes that you are requesting this product with wheels.
Portable Adjustable Wheel Chair Access Tables: This bimah was custom built to serve the specifications of our clients to serve as a portable torah reading table to be accessed by wheel chairs and standing adults at the same time. Other designs for wheel chair accessible tables are available upon request and custom projects are always welcome.
